Scott Maron, M.D.Board Certified in Internal Medicine
Scott Maron was born and raised in West Orange, NJ. After earning his Bachelor of Science at University of Pennsylvania, he went to Baylor College of Medicine for his medical degree. He returned to New Jersey to practice medicine and has privileges at Morristown Memorial Hospital and Saint Barnabas Medical Center. Dr. Maron has been a Medical Director at Optimus Healthcare Partners ACO and Atlantic Health ACO for the past three years. As such, he has been a Consultant to over 200 Atlantic Health System Medical practices improving the quality of their care. Before that, he served as the Chairman of the Quality Assurance Committee at Saint Barnabas for ten years as well as participating with a number of committees involving improvement of care and hiring Department Chairs. In his practice of Internal Medicine, Dr. Maron manages all diseases in all areas, but has a special interest in Preventive medicine, cardiology, and endocrinology. He uses his background in Psychology and Neuroscience to blend the art and science of Medicine. Dr. Maron’s approach is strongly influenced by three tenets- one must treat the person and not the disease, the mind and body are entwined closely in overall health, and Western Medicine does not have all the answers. As a doctor, one must consider all aspects of a person’s health and life when giving advice or considering options. Every person reacts to disease and treatment in different ways and so each approach is individualized. Dr. Maron uses sincere caring, humor, and a person’s own support system to optimize their feelings for their future. A supportive hand or a shared laugh can be more therapeutic than some medications. Dr. Maron has practiced medicine for over twenty years and has spent every day striving to make his patients happy and healthy. |

Anisha Rodrigues, M.D. Board Certified in Internal Medicine
Dr. Rodrigues received her MBBS from Maulana Azad Medical College, University of Delhi. In 1995 she joined the Foothill Research Center, Stanford University, California for a year of research in Molecular Biology in the Department of Hematology and Oncology. She completed her residency training at Saint Barnabas Medical Center, Livingston where she was the recipient of the Carlos Hormilla, M.D. Memorial Award for the outstanding intern in 1997 and the Resident Excellence award in Clinical Practice in 1999. In 2001 she was awarded the Outstanding Internist of the Year for clinical excellence and teaching. Her special interests are Preventive Medicine, Endocrinology, Nutrition and care of the medically complex patient. She enjoys working with her patients and empowers them to make positive changes to achieve the best results. |

Rasha Yassa, M.D. Board Certified in Internal Medicine
Dr. Rasha Yassa was born and raised in Cairo, Egypt. She received her M.B.Ch.B. from University of Cairo, Faculty of Medicine in November 2007. She worked as primary care physician before moving to the USA in 2011. She completed her residency training at The Wright Center for Graduate Medical Education Residency Program, Scranton, PA June 2019 (Formerly Scranton Temple Program). During residency she was part of a team for a quality improvement project regarding prevention of re-admissions to the hospital with effective post discharge Transition of care. As a result of her efforts, fewer people needed to be readmitted to hospitals. She believes that transition of care is important for the patient and their families. Patient care and satisfaction are her first priority. Her special interest is Preventive medicine and she thinks that it is as important as curative medicine for patient's care. As a physician, Dr. Yassa believes that listening to patients and giving them the chance to express their feelings & concerns is vital in developing a collaborative plan of care. She uses evidence based medical knowledge, but tailors it to each patient's needs, goals, and values. |

Mandy Yi, PA-C, MS, CNCPhysician Assistant
Mandy Yi is a board certified Physician Assistant and Certified Nutrition Counselor with a passion for empowering individuals to lead healthier lives. She grew up in central New Jersey and obtained her Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Rutgers University. She went on to earn her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, PA. Mandy’s journey in healthcare started as an EMT for nearly a decade prior to becoming a Physician Assistant. She then worked at RWJBarnabas Emergency Department for many years. With a desire to build meaningful relationships and closely support patients, she made the decision to transition to Family Medicine. She hopes to help patients reach healthier lifestyles by combining evidence-based medicine and nutritional guidance. She is fluent in English and also speaks Mandarin, Chinese. In her free time, she enjoys working out and spending quality time with her family. |

Kirsten Ruhl, PA-CPhysician Assistant
Kirsten Ruhl a nationally board-certified Physician Assistant with over 10 years of experience in Primary Care and Urgent Care settings. She is adept at caring for patients of all ages and with various health concerns including both acute and chronic conditions. She has an absolute passion for the treatment of diabetes and weight management. Kirsten is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants the New Jersey State Society of PAs and the Phi Alpha National Physician Assistant Honor Society. She has published research in the areas of patient education and obesity. She works tirelessly with her patients to obtain a level of overall health and wellness by educating on nutrition and various lifestyle modifications. Kirsten prides herself on having a welcoming and open approach with patients treating them like friends or even family. Kirsten obtained her undergraduate degree at Ramapo College of New Jersey where she graduated Magna Cum Laude and was inducted into the National Biological Honor Society. She then went on to obtain her Masters in Physician Assistant studies at Seton Hall University graduating with honors. During her time at Seton Hall she was the recipient of the Edward J Ill Excellence in Medicine Scholarship and acted as student vice president. She continues to be involved in the education of future Physician Assistants with various programs in New Jersey. Kirsten is a native of northern New Jersey and enjoys the rural side of New Jersey. When she isn't working she enjoys the outdoors including camping, ATVing and boating as well as spending time with her family which includes her firefighter husband her twins and the family Yellow Labrador named Thor. |

Mary Jean (MJ) Vignali, AGNP-BCNurse Practitioner
MJ Vignali is a board certified Adult and Gerontological Nurse Practitioner. She was raised in Westfield, NJ and received her RN and an associate degree in Applied Science from Muhlenberg School of Nursing in Plainfield, NJ in 1993. She practiced as a critical care nurse for over 18 years at Overlook Hospital where she received a clinical nurse excellence award in 2011. During this time she returned to school to get her bachelor's degree from Felician University. In 2019, MJ received a Master of Science in Nursing degree at Seton Hall University and was the recipient of the Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner Award. After graduating, MJ worked at Morristown Medical Center as a critical care cardiac nurse practitioner. She then went on to serve as a provider in college health both at Drew University and at her Alma mater Seton Hall University. MJ strives to provide individualized care to meet the unique needs of each patient. She enjoys building trusting, compassionate relationships and values the importance of patient education. In her spare time MJ likes to exercise and spend time with her family and dog. |

Angela Beauchamp, AGNP-CNurse Practitioner
Angela is a board-certified Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner. She is born and raised in New Jersey. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from The College of New Jersey in 2011. She worked as a bedside nurse in a Surgical Oncology/Step-Down Unit at RWJ New Brunswick while also pursuing her Master’s Degree from Rutgers University, Newark. After obtaining her MSN and certification in Adult Primary Care in 2015, Angela has worked as a nurse practitioner in the outpatient setting, serving a diverse patient population. She particularly enjoys the preventative aspect of her role in primary care, helping counsel patients towards a healthier lifestyle and avoiding chronic disease. Outside of healthcare, Angela enjoys spending time with her family. |

Terry Murray, LCSWLicensed Clinical Social Worker
Terry Murray who provides individual, family and group counseling to individuals of all ages. Ms. Murray received her Master of Social Work degree from the University of Maryland at Baltimore and has practiced in both Maryland and New Jersey. She has worked in a variety of settings including mental health centers and residential living facilities. Ms. Murray uses therapeutic interventions to enhance patient’s coping skills when facing life’s challenges. She enjoys helping patients make changes to improve their lives. |

Kimberly Schumacher, MS, LLPLicensed Clinical Social Worker
Kim is passionate about working with people and understanding the powerful dynamics between our feelings, thoughts, and behaviors. This passion motivated her to pursue a career in social work and obtain a master’s degree from Rutgers University. Kim’s clinical skills have been strengthened as a therapist by working in both inpatient and outpatient mental health and medical settings. She provides therapy to individuals, couples and families. Kim is an empathetic therapist who utilizes client-centered therapy to create a safe and comfortable environment for her clients to process their feelings freely. Through the use of evidence-based interventions she aids clients in developing coping techniques to manage feelings of stress, anxiety and depression, as well as identifying and adopting healthy behavioral patterns. It is Kim’s goal to guide clients through their journey of self exploration and support their progress towards increased health and fulfillment. |
