He uses his background in Psychology and Neuroscience to blend the art and science of Medicine. Dr. Maron’s approach is strongly influenced by three tenets- one must treat the person and not the disease, the mind and body are entwined closely in overall health, and Western Medicine does not have all the answers. As a doctor, one must consider all aspects of a person’s health and life when giving advice or considering options. Every person reacts to disease and treatment in different ways and so each approach is individualized. Dr. Maron uses sincere caring, humor, and a person’s own support system to optimize their feelings for their future. A supportive hand or a shared laugh can be more therapeutic than some medications. Dr. Maron has practiced medicine for over twenty years and has spent every day striving to make his patients happy and healthy. |
